Murze Magazine, digital artist residency,
Isolation Part Two
4-10 May 2020
As time passes, and I am without a studio space, I find myself trying new media. Using an iPhone, I am making experimental shorts to create avant-garde “noir” art. I subscribe to the idea that art is a means to look beyond what is seen, allowing the work to lead the viewer on a meta-reflective journey.
For this weeklong digital residency, I endeavor to produce a series of visual haiku. While out in the wilderness, spaces between invisible and visible forces open. I enter pictures made of voices and taste the sounds of existence.
