Microcosmic

Microcosmic is created through analog cameraless photography using the phytogram method. Flower petals gathered from London gardens were placed onto film, where their internal chemistry imprinted directly into the emulsion. I then added hand-painted ink gestures onto the film strips and scanned them, digitally rendering the images with bilateral symmetry.

The resulting works unfold as microcosmic worlds that echo larger cosmic structures. They suggest hidden geometries, spectral presences, and more-than-human voices rising through the material trace. Microcosmic becomes both a photographic record and a spiritual conversation — a place where plant memory, painterly mark, and digital reflection open into unseen dimensions.
